Palazzo Ciopeta is located in the heart of Verona, an ideal location for visiting the city’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>

In fact, it takes only a few steps to find oneself on the “Liston” of Piazza Br\u00e0, the famous promenade of the Veronese, full of cafes and restaurants, and in front of the Arena, the symbol of the city, the very ancient Roman amphitheater (dating back to the middle of the 1st century AD) that still today, perfectly preserved, hosts shows, concerts and above all the summer opera season.<\/p>

Crossing Via Mazzini, the “shopping street,” you quickly reach the charming Piazza delle Erbe with the Lamberti Tower, which allows you to admire the city from above, and Juliet’s famous house, with its romantic balcony, recalling the story of the ill-fated lovers made eternal by Shakespeare’s verses.<\/p>

Also worth visiting is the charming Piazza Dante with the Palazzo della Ragione, the Loggia di Fra Giocondo and the nearby Arche Scaligere. In a few minutes’ walk you can also reach several churches such as San Fermo, Sant’Anastasia and the Duomo.<\/p>

You cannot miss the view from the Roman bridge, the very ancient Ponte Pietra, with the nearby Roman Theater and the Adige River in the background; from here you can take the cable car up the hills surrounding the city and enjoy a unique view from Castel San Pietro.<\/p>

Also from Palazzo Ciopeta, you can stroll to the medieval Castelvecchio (600 m away), with its crenellated bridge that crosses the Adige River, offering unforgettable views, and reach Porta Borsari, a majestic Roman gate, with its namesake street, home to elegant stores.<\/p>

Also worth a visit is the lively San Zeno district, center of the city’s ancient carnival, with the cathedral of the same name, which houses the remains of the city’s patron saint, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture, with its rose window, bronze tile doorway and famous Mantegna altarpiece.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Lake Garda, Italy’s largest bathing lake, will welcome you with its charming villages overlooking its blue waters: Sirmione, Peschiera, Bardolino and Lazise, or further north Torri del Benaco, Castelletto di Brenzone and Malcesine.
